🐲 Ford C Max Battery Saver System Off
Starting with the 2011 model year, Ford and Lincoln vehicles use what's called a battery management system and what that does is it'll help conserve the battery's power. Say you have got the radio on for a long period of time or something like that, it'll turn off some accessories to try and conserve that power.
It's low on juice. If you haven't driven your car recently, it might just need to charge. But given the age, more than likely you need to replace the 12v battery. This is different from the hybrid battery. It's just a regular car battery like you'd have in a standard ICE vehicle. Trunk, back left, there's a panel you can open to get to it.
To configure the battery saver, click or tap the "Battery saver settings" link at the bottom. These settings will allow you to set when (or if) the battery saver turns on. The battery saver mode is a factory setting used to conserve the battery during shipping. I don't know why your Flex switched back from normal but try this; Turn key on but don't start the engine. Press and release the brake pedal 5 times then turn the emergency blinkers on and off twice. This should reset the system to normal.
To remove the Save Battery message from your vehicle, you’ll need to reset your BMS. Follow these steps to Reset the BMS in your Ford Escape: Open your hood. Disconnect the negative terminal on your battery. Insert your key into the ignition, but don’t turn it on. Instead, push the ignition to the On position.
